LCC wins tonight 3-2 @ Perry Central. Great defensive game and a GREAT pitching performance from Colton Cook once again! Next game @ Pound, Va on Monday. Keep on rolling Cougars and a GREAT win against a very solid team!

This is a very good one win. Gene Combs is one of the best coaches in the state and he has brought Montgomery back to a very competitive team in their region. LCC was suppose to be young and inexperienced this year, but it looks like they have a shot at region.

In my opinion there was never any doubt that the cougars had a shot to win the 14th but with the solid wins the Cougars have been making it just solidifies them as a favorite to win it all. Of course the Cougars will have to beat Freeman and Estill which will be no easy task.

Congrats LCC on the win.
This was a great baseball game to watch. Both team had good pitching and great defense.
MC got a lot young arms varsity experience in this game and all did a good job.
I hope LCC iced the 3rd baseman arm after the game, because he seemed to have as many put outs as the pitcher threw pitches. :) Great jog young man!
Also, congrats to Tray Combs (MC Soph.) on his 1st HR
LCC has a class program and will be in the mix for 14th region title.
Cougars are rolling! Congrats LCC.

Sounds like a good game to watch. Gene Combs and Brian Dean going head to head like they used too in the 56th. They are both great Coaches and have built their programs successfully. Good luck to both teams for the rest of the season.
