Suggestions for Improvements??

I'm not ashamed to ask for help here. What will it take to make this place grow.
I understand I'm up against some well established competition.
I want this place to be a success, pleasant to visit and informative. I'm open to suggestions.


We are free. We now have a nice interface with no extra ads. Is the key ingredient just time or what. I dont want your money. I just love Kentucky sports.


MY GOAL: Is to have a sports community that offers quality information, except no costs you. A place to make new friends and share stories.

I would appreciate it if you would help the community grow. Provide BGR with scores and stories, and tell people you know. I think if we all work together we have a nice alternative at no costthanks.gif s.

Yes not too bad. We have actually had over over 80,000 posts in that amount of time. I accidentally deleted some old posts so our totals are wrong on here.

I think this is an awesome site QQ, in the short time i have been a member here it has grown tremendously or at least I feel like it has. BGR is a far more superior site than any of the competition not because it is free but because of the members themselves, I felt at home from day one a feeling you cant get at other sites because your on the outside looking in. I have really enjoyed getting to know the members here and consider a few to be friends, this is only in the space of not quite a month so I am sure the number of friends will continue to grow. Just keep up the good work and I will do whatever I can to help make BGR the number 1 site on the net for sports information in the state.

cool. Yes, I think they deserve a seperate forum since this is a ky site. The fantasy sports will be back before next week. The links will just be on the homepage insteads.. So will the arcade.

Im just going to change the fantasy sports to a weekly competition for a free pizza from pizza hut or poppa johns. Or maybe a dinner at apple bees.. Something like that.

MI tell elastic girl her account is activated now. For some reasons all the accounts to come over as activated. I just went through and activated any account with a post cout of like a 100 or more. She wasnt there yet.. didnt mean to leave her out.

QQ you know what I think of this site. This is a GREAT site that will continue to grow and get better. The most important thing is for our current members to spread the word about BGR to their friends and fans of their respective school. This site is FREE and will continue to be free and this time next year everyone will be amazed at how much it will grow....I know it. For those that don't know QQ, he is a GREAT guy that has put his own time and money into this site for us, the fans of high school sports. We are allready seeing the results of all of QQ's hard work and we all are going to have a blast for years to come watching BGR grow and talking with other fans about everything from high school football to everyones favorite movie. I am so glad that QQ made this site and I can get on here and talk high school sports with fans from all over the mountains, and hopefully the entire state in the future, and I just hope everyone else enjoys this site as much as I do and appreciates QQ for making this all happen....Keep up the work QQ, you have a winner in BGR!!

Are you saying dont have a special forum for UK sports at all or just have a special forum just not under the Wildcat Corner thread? But like right above/below college sports?

On a side note: I like the different forum for UK but think that they should only have one forum b/c the sports that are out of season see little action.

Yes, All of that will be located on the home page soon. Maybe even a drop down box with links in the forums. (located at the bottom or top of the forums)

Im going to try to get the old forum to coexist with this one as well. Some people have pmed saying they preferred the old style. So.. We try to address that..

I can do this by only sacrificing forum speed. The show users dispay adds a great deal of queries (work load) on the server. I guess we could try and see how it effects overall performance.

I believe the game broadcast streaming could be the best improvement made.
That will differentiate BGR from other sites.
