really paintsville shouldnt have even scored 10 runs they had 6 unearned rus in the first 4 inn. so sc should have been out of there in 7 but thats the way schs seems to be playing all year long

No, I don't think it does. They have already played the game earlier in the year that counted towards the seeding. You only count the first game you play. So in the seedings Paintsville has a 12-2 win over SC.

ah well it really doesnt matter all they needed to know is they can play at the level that paintsville nd other top teams in the region are on

I don't think that would be accurate to say unless you face Grimm. Whenever you get beat Paintsville with Grimm on the mound then you can say that you are on that level. Not yet on that level, but it's still a good win. I wasn't there but I would say that Paintsville threw one of there kids who needed work, like the little left handed 8th grader, or somebody like that, who normally doesn't get a lot of starts. I am not trying to downgrade your win I am just saying that for it to be an accurate depiction of them being on the same level as top teams in the region, they would have to beat the top teams with their top pitchers on the mound.
You have to remember also this is the same SC team that got beat by Magoffin just a week ago.

Who pitched for Paintsville???

I would say just about every one one the team. They are trying to save everyone for the All A, would be my guess, since this one really didn't matter.

I'd say your right. I couldn't see anyone going more than two innings in this one. I still can't believe this regardless of who pitched. Paintsville shouldn't have let this happen. This happens to everyone though, LC even let it happen with Morgan County. I wonder which one is better between SC and Morgan?

Lyons pitched 3 innings and was up 6-0, then he was takin out do to the state turny Saturday. Seth rice was brought in in the 4th , and then Vanhoose in the 5th witch i think both combined for 10 walks. Ison came in to pitch in the 5th as well with the bases loaded. Ison pitched till the 9th so he would be able to pitch if need this weekend. Vialpando was the pitcher in the 10th.

Ison was burnt in this game. He pitched 5 innings, so he is not eligible to pitch til Monday. He was throwing great and that is why I couldn't understand not letting him to continue pitching.

Actually, he is eligible to pitch saturday, if he only threw 5 innings.

Everything went wrong tonight for Paintsville!!! It started with one of our starters leaving his uniform in paintsville. (that would be my son), Then we started popping everything straight up. Lyons pithched great, and if this game really meant much, SC might have scored 2-3 runs at best IMO. Paintsville had around 12 hits tonight so you can't say they were dominated. In the 5th, SC scored 6 runs on 2 hits and 5 BB's They scored 3 unearned in the 4th. The winning run in the 10th was also unearned.
Paintsville had this one and just let off the gas and after SC got things going, PHS couldn't hit the throttle again
Congrats SC on the win, you really deserved it, plus your coach is great at keeping you all motivated and manufacturing runs.

I thought the rule was 2 innings or less-next day, 3 innings-1 day, 4 innings 2 days, 5 or more, 3 days. my bad.

It's 1-2 innings (no days)
3-5 innings (one day)
6 innings (two days)
7 innings (three days)
So it sounds like Paintsville will technically have a full staff available for the weekend.

True, but the runner that scored had reached on an error, thus the unearned run.

yes this is true but of the six runs scored by p-ville in the 1st inn. 4 were earnerdand the 2 t werent shouldnt have scored because of the extra out givein up by sc. so this goes both ways and the tieing run in the 7th was scored on a error so it really dosent matter but this was a very great game

Sounds like a game the Tigers could have won it they weren't trying to save all of the pitchers for the All-A. That's the trouble when you don't have deep pitching! And around here, not many teams do.
Anyway, congrats Cards!
