I was looking at the 14th region records on KHSAA scoreboards and it states that JBS forfeited to Riverside at JBS on May 1st. I was just wandering why there was a forfeit? It lists the score as 7-0 but I dont know how many innings it was played or any of the details. If you know anything about this game, please post. I am not asking for any player or coach bashing, just curious as to why there was a forfeit.

this isnt true.... JBS never forfeited this game, in fact told Riverside to come and never could work anything out... this will be off KHSAA before to long

Ok, thanks for posting....I dont understand why they posted a 7-0 score....maybe a run for each inning or something....it just confused me about the forfeit.....thanks for answering the post..I didnt think JBS would do a forfeit like that but wasnt sure because I saw it on KHSAA

If a game is forfeited, KHSAA will apply a 7-0 score in favor of the "winning" team. That is the reason the score is there. the 7 runs are, basically 1 run for each inning.
