WoW! Unbelievable score. Paintsville has silenced some of their critics with this score. Who pitched for Paintsville? Did Christain throw their ace against them?

Lyons went the distance for P-ville. LCA didn't pitch their ace, he was out of innings.

So did Grimm throw against Murray or are they saving him for the championship?

Yes Grimm went against Murray. When it comes tourney time you throw your best to get you to the next game. When you try and save people, that is when you end up going home. Congrats to the Tigers and to Soph. Austin Lyons on a Great Game.

Thanks. I know how tournaments go, but I figured they may have pulled him after they got a big lead so maybe he could throw a few innings in the championship.

Paintsville didn't get the big lead til the 4th & 5th innings.
They were up 1 after 1, then after big 4th and 5th innings was up 10-0. Murray got a run in the bottom of the 5th.

The back of the order came up big for Paintsville in both of the first 2 games.
In the LCA game Cyrus led off the 3rd with a single, Vialpando followed with a bunt single, Butcher(batting 9th now) drilled a double that I still believe was gone, scoring 2 runs, befor scoring off the bat of Humpfrey.

Paintsville's D was terrific in Lexington. Pitching was great as well. They gave up 5 runs in 3 games and committed only 2 errors during the tourney. Also turned 4 double plays!
