Lawrence Co came out with Lewis Michaels on the mound and also had 3 starters sitting the bench and played a great game. Big pick me up from last night and with Ashland here tom should have them focused.

Why were they on the bench? Are they injured?

They play Ashland next? Should be an easy game for LC but they better not over look them

Its called getting some younger kids game experience. Never know when you may need them.

You sure about that? I believe there is a little different tale behind it..
Uh, Shep is a freshman. How much younger do they play them at LC. Only one player is a senior.

Let's look at it this way....
Shep is pitching later in the week-
Kingsmore was in the bullpen last night-
Pack is also a reserve pitcher-
Luckily none of them were needed on the hill last night but they all went in the game in the 3rd inning or so-no sure exactly which one.
Frankly it doesn't mean something is wrong when they don't start every game-just gave some other players a chance to start.

What are you even talking about Shep has started since last year. Kingsmore was the only SR that didnt start but like I said it gave him chance to plays some that dont normally play the field.

Actually Shep has started for the last 3 years.(7th grade, 8th grade, and now freshman). Same with Shane Pack and Jordan Miller (current sophomores).
I think Coach was just playing some of the freshmen that will be a big part of this team in the next few years.

You guys continue to crack me up. Why is it so hard to just say that the 3 mentioned have not been producing as of late and did not start this game due to either errors or batting slumps. It happens to just about anyone who has ever played the game, so why in the world do you have to make up tales to cover things up.. I know exactly what happened last night and why it happened. Some of you guys need to recognize the fact that I am friends with some of the staff.
Lets just tell it like it is. The 3 mentioned were never inserted into the game until the 5th inning of a mercy game , and Shane Pack was the only one to get an at bat.

I know how long he has started. Once again what I said just goes completely over your head. You made the statement that they were benched in order to give some of the younger guys some PT. I said he was a only a freshman, and asked the question of how much younger can you get than to be a freshman. Shewwwww!!!

Well I'm glad you have the answers because I was only speculating. I said I didn't know FOR SURE when they went in and I THOUGHT maybe coach was playing the other guys for experience. I wasn't intending to "make things up". I'm just a fan!!

You crack me up each time you say you have reliable resources and think you know everything. You continue to bring things up to try to start arguements. Until you are actually part of the staff, then dont bother to state anything about LC. Sound good to you?;)

If it is indeed the truth, no it doesn't.
But unless I hear it from Coach's mouth, it is nothing more than speculation from any of us. Even from you. You are no more than a bystander like the rest of us.

It's called depth on a team when the starters can take a night off and rest and let some youngsters get some good quality PT. I actually personally ask a coach today to see why they didnt play and he told me that they didn't need to play the starters in this one. This happens from time to time with quality teams and you saw this instance in this game. I know this rarely happens but If I'm not mistaken, I proved you wrong.:shh:

Hey pal, you never proved anyone wrong. All of the players that did not start were told before the game why they were not starting. Evidently you are a JV player and was not there. Correct on that aint I?
