I saw PCC beat several teams to death over at the Sports Plex yesterday. They sure do have one heck of a coaching staff with the addtions of Cavanaugh Trent, Shannon Hoskins, and John Bentley. DANG.

This can't be true! Maybe he is helping with AAU. First I have heard about it and I am pretty sure I would have heard something about if he is going to PCC next year, lol!

Well I saw him driving Hatchers white Chrysler 300 today with Hatcher in the passenger seat. Looks like Trent is going to be making some serious dough this time around at PCC.

Perry County Central has played very well over the summer, they have beat teams like Knott County, Madison Central, and Lexington Catholic. Chris Noble and Deron Amis have been an upstoppable duo so far this summer and Klay Maggard has gotten a lot stronger and never misses a board, Jordan Amis is getting his basketball moves back from baseball and the team is still awaiting the return of Jacob Watts. Also Josh Salyers from Breathitt County has transferred to PCC and has recently worked his way into the starting rotation, he is a great offensive option on the post beside Klay.
Coach Hatcher did lose two assistant coaches in Kent and Kevin Campbell but did make two very good pickups in Shannon Hoskins and John Bentley. He still has Denny Fugate and Clifford McIntire on his staff from last season. Trent is still at LCC, just clearing that up. I think the Commodores, Patriots, and the Bulldogs will be a fantastic battle this season in the 14th Region.

Yeah, but KCC didn't have a couple of players either.

Perry is a team that should not be overlooked in this region. Everybody is on the Hazard and Knott County band wagons. But this is a team that could make some noise. However I feel the regional tourney is Hazards to lose.

Why is Kevin and Kent not on the staff anymore, they have been there for the past several years, are they going some where else or what?

Where did the Campbell brothers go? Perry will be tough this year with Maggard and Noble. I enjoy watching them play since they always give 110%.

I still believe it will be hard for them to advance in region play, I dont think they could beat Hazard or KCC.

Perry is one of the favorites, I dont think they can beat KCC and HAz in the same tournament but could def send one of those home.

What are everyones thoughts on Coach Hatcher? I am a WestKy guy and like keeping up with him and his team. Also noticed on the football board people had posted pics of east ky football fields. Would be interesting to see some pics of eastern ky gyms.

I can promise you his teams are solid on both ends and dont beat themselves. Hatcher didnt win 10 regional titles in 20 years by accident.
