New car...hopefully

I got on autotrader earlier and found a 2003 Toyota Corolla S for $9,800. It has 23,000 miles...which made my mom happy. It's blue, automatic, 4 cylinder, 2 wheel drive-front, 4 door, with AC, p/windows, stereo, am/fm and a sunroof. My step-dad told my mom to call and check on it so I have my fingers crossed! I wanted a black one but I'm just happy to be getting another car...hopefully I can keep this one longer than a year...I really hope I get this car...if I don't I'll be really disappointed but oh well I can look more I guess...can't drive anything anyhow until I get the cast off my leg. But you all wish me luck on hopefully getting this! I REALLY WANT IT!!!! :beg:

Thankx tribe...I'll try not to fall but my sister has been leaving all kinds of stuff in the floor so it's an obstacle course to get to the living room now...I'll post tomorrow night when I get back from Huntington and let you all know how it goes!

Hey sorry I haven't been able to post sooner, I got back tonight between 7:30-8. I didn't actually get called in to the doctor until 3 which knocked me off an hour. They took x-rays before they cut my old cast off and the doctor said the bones were healing very good so far. He took the stitches out of my cut I had on my leg and everything. He pulled out this long piece of guaze that was stuffed in my leg when I had surgery to hold drainage since they couldn't put in a drainage tube because of my cast... it made me sick to my stomach but they put steri-strips over the cut and wrapped my leg back up and put on my new cast which as Balla stated is hot pink. I have to go back in 4 weeks on the 24th to see. I'm still not allowed to put ANY weight on my leg. But right now I have to go pack to go to Prestonsburg for the weekend so I'll be back on later.

Oh don't worry tribe...I am...lol I'm at Balla's right now though, we went to the lake earlier and fed the ducks. I wanted to go to the football game, we parked and everything but Balla was afraid that I'd fall or something because of wlaking up hill and up steps.

The best thing to do is not rush into getting something.. that's what i've done on my past 4 cars.. and they've all turned out bad..

I'm not rushing... I can't drive until my leg heals so...and even when the cast comes off I'll have to go to physical therapy for it no doubt where in the end it'll make 6 weeks that my leg will be straight and the muscles will no doubt be gone so...I say it'll be awhile before I can drive.

THIS JUST IN... the insurance company isn't paying my car completely off, we have to pay $1200 which is like 4 or 5 car payments...so I won't be getting a car until march or april..
