Dewey Lake

anyone having any luck this year at dewey or the spillway ? If theres any other lakes that have seen good fishing i would like to know.

I fished Dewey earlier in the summer and done fairly well. Fished deep with soft plastic. Watermelon green 10" powerbait worm.

early spring when the water reaches about 55 degrees at the bank down tworads the dam and the bank straight across from arrowhead point use shallow running bandit crank baits, that is what my friend told me to put on here.

I have heard that it was a great lake for catfishig.

You would be surprised how good the fishing is in fish trap if you new where to go. Some good small mouth in that lake. Its improved alot since i was young kid fishing it. Very shocked at Dewey lake fished it last year for the first time in 18 years. Caught some nice Bass going towards german bridge in the shallows. Had two the first morning with in the first hour over 5 lbs. But the lake sure has filled in alot. LETS GO FISHING>>>>>>>>kybass :USAFlag:
