This one is going to be a battle. Obviously the winner of this game will win the district and have a shot at hosting Pikeville or Paintsville in the regional 4 class A championship.

Both teams are solid and pretty evenly matched, and I dont want to take anything away from either team. I wish them both the best of luck. However, I give Somerset the slight advantage in this game since its at Somerset.

Lynn Camp has yet to play anyone like the Jumpers, and playing at the Briar Patch makes it even tougher on the happy campers. I feel that the Jumpers have three of top players in the region in John Cole, Ray Norman, and Scotty Newell. I feel Lynn Camp doesn't have the talent to matchup with these three. Plus I feel the line has done very well this year to Ross time to pick teams apart. Lynn Camp will come in this game cocky because they won 7 in a row, and beat Somerset in a fluke last season. #26 hasn't had a game like that before, and never will again. I also feel Somerset has too much speed for Lynn Camp. I like my jumpers in a big way.

This year is pretty much a rematch of last year, Lynn camp only lost 3 seniors from last season, Somerset losing around 5-7 if i'm right. Last year chaffin was injured and reynolds turned in big numbers. Last year was at the brair patch as well. Anyone who was at the game last year: Think the jumpers will have the big floats in each endzone again?

the way i look at it, somerset is not physical enough to stop lynn camp. with people like jimmy chaffin, joe roskopf and josh reynolds on offense and nick scalf anthony walters and scott bray on defense there is no way they will be able to do anything. lynn camps DB'S are also really good and they will light u up. all i got to say is somerset better be ready. i got lynn camp by 12

Lynn Camp was ahead 35-7. at half time. Coach mitchell is not a vindictive coach, or the kind to run th score up on an oppenent. Therefore, pulling starters.
The skins outplayed somerset, plain and simple, and blew the game late.

By the way, sure the skins out produced the cats in yardage, but without scoring, yardage is about as useful as teats on a boar hog:mop:

This will be a huge test for Chaffin. Somerset will be focusing on him and Reynolds heavily since his 300+ yard performance last year. Yardage will be had to come by. Look for sophmore rb Joe Roskoph to have a breakout game. I feel the cats will come out on top, they have too much speed and skill for Somerset.

I would love to be able to go to the game..living in Lexington the drive wouldn't be too bad but I think if I go to a game this weekend I am going to head up the Mtn. Parkway to Hazard to watch the Pikeville-Hazard game. Good luck to both teams though and I will be interested in hearing the score on Friday night...it should be a battle with two great teams going at it. I hope Pikeville is playing either one of you guys later on in the regional championship game...Corbin will be a little bit of a shorter drive for me if that happens than Somerset so I am rooting for the Campers...lol. From what i remember mills played in the flats in the lesile game the way they played him all night that night. So i wouldn't say he got burn't.

#52 Anothony Walters is a small guy with great skills. He has a great suporting cast on the d line with him, Hall & Slusher and i can not think of the others. they are great defenders on the line

I believe this will be a pretty good game between the top two teams in the district. While it is true that Lynn Camp hasn't played a perennial power like Danville, they do have some quality wins on their schedule this year. Both these teams are good with some convincing wins in the district. I'm just looking forward to what I hope is a hardfought, competitive game.

After watching the lynn camp cumberland game, i have a feeling lynn camp will man handle somerset across the line. The full back from CHS made a sock monkey out of the Jumper's secondary. He was taking the hits to their linebackers. If you didn't see what Reynold's did to numerous redskins, including the full back, then you missed what can only be described as a yancy street gang style beat down.
In closing, they will be unable to tackle reynolds OR chase down chaffin. Go TIGERS!
