Wow there is a lot of good coaches. You have to give nods to the teams that are there year in and year out. The Fla. St. teams, Va. Tech., Tennessee, and look at the job coach Paternio is doing with Penn St. this year. It would be really hard to put any one at the top. Guess right now USC has the coach doing the job, but I dont like the trojans so I wont give him a vote lol.

From the past, I'm favorable to Lou Holtz. Currently, I'd say it would be hard to go against Bobby Bowden.

If you go on the "what have you done for me lately" senario its Pete Carroll from USC... even though I'm not a big Trojans fan, you have to give credit where it is due and they have been the best for 3 years now...

Texas always loses to OK, but he is a very good coach who is finally over that oklahoma slump...but I would say the best is Pete Carroll,...but with time Charlie Weiss, the best mind in football, could be there...I think he will be a good recruiter.
