I predict that it will be a good game cause both will be fightin for that spot.. Just hope Russell stays on their game

Sorry BelfryPride, but you won't be seeing Newport next week. You'll be traveling to Russell. Oh what a game that will be.

Newport's loss was to NCC 49-20. Pretty easy win for NCC. Newport only beat Fleming Co 16-15, Russell beat Fleming 42-21. Newport beat East Carter 32-20, Russell beat East 27-7.

What does that mean??? Maybe nothing. I just don't see Newport beating Russell even though it's at Newport.

All I want to add to this one lil piece is Casey Clark and Tommy Brown are healthy and that is good for russell and bad for the op.

Russell takes this one pretty easily as long as they don't let the drive to Newport effect them. If the drive effects them, It will be tight until halftime and then Russell opens it up in the 2nd half.

I think this one will be close, but I feel Russell will take over in the end.

First it may not be belfry,second what games were played in the past mean nothing because this is playoff time everyone is playing with more intensity, they no its do or die time. I will take Newport to win 21 to 18...

I should also add that if Russell wins this game then Ivan McGlone will have his 250th career victory as head coach at Russell.

yep it would.. he is a great coach.. I wish the best to Russell.. I went there this past weekend and got some pictures of the field and stuff, when I get them developed I will put them on a webpage and share with you all
