from what i seen saturday when SF played GC looks like Mason Hall and Ryan Little is the best, b/c mason had to play PG that game b/c of the football players going to the uk-tenn game i heard someone sayin mason had only 9 pts. but he only took 5 or 6 shots but I also heard he had about 15 assists though and with ryan little having i think 27 if im not mistaken sounds like a pretty darn good guard big man combo to me.

Im going to say the Ryans of SF. However is Kidd could get a better PG they would be hard to stop.

Yea toughguy Brandon Kidd is a great ball player but like you said he needs a point guard to give it to him a little more often
U Know Not!!

Ryan J and Ryan L hands down, if they learn how to run a pick and role they will be dangerous for any team to stop

The question is are those two going to be in the game or thrown out? Good combination along with bad attitudes. Will the good outway the bad?

hopefully if sf wants to win it better
TOUGHGUY

Yeah I'm tired of the two letting their emotions get the best of them.
U Know Not!!
12-01-2005, 10:31 PM
yea... i guess we will see tomorrow night if they have changed or not
yeah once they get mad they dont care what they say to anybody an they cant play the rest of the game from bein so upset.

That is true. They help South Floyd out tremendously, but Mason Hall also contributes alot for the Raiders to help them win.
not only Mason but Ethan is a big factor for the raiders this year also.
TOUGHGUY

Mason doesn't contribute much, this is due to not getting the ball. He is the best shooter on the team and he doesn't get enough touches. The two Ryans are too selfish with the rock.
yeah things will have to change and the raiders will need to start playin team ball if they want to win games.

Its not only SF that does this though. A lot of teams do, they will have a guard that thinks he is D1 bound and tries to showboat. They need to wake up and smell the coffee and focus on winning games instead of signing for scholarships. Scouts will notice their will to win.

I'll have to agree. The 2 Ryans are very selfish with the rock. It seems like everytime that Little touches it under the goal or even 15ft. out he'll shoot it, yea it goes in the SF has so much talent that good team ball will lead to success.

I agree star

They do need to play just a little more team ball but the two ryans are going to have do to everything this year for the raiders if they want to play on rupps floor..

to be the best combo, wouldnt your guard have to be able and WILLING to pass the ball to the big man? i would say either blake bundy or pugh to williams.

Slone/Pugh and Williams

Williams isn't a good big man and Slone won't pass him the ball even if he was.

Sorry for the double post earlier in the thread.
Kevin Williams has the size and strength to be a good post player. But I'd have to agree that so far he hasn't shown the basketball skill needed to be considered a top player.
But that could change. He improved greatly in baseball last year. Whose to say he hasn't made similar improvements in basketball. Besides, he plays for the best coach in the area, maybe even the state!

how correct you are,, on your second part, could be a factor why paintsville lost, again:boo: Williams isn't a good big man and Slone won't pass him the ball even if he was.
