15th region fans?

Their is a thread about the 14th but who has the craziest fans in the 15th region.

I think we do a pretty good job from here in the Burg. The AC game was like a post season tourny!

Central usually has a good fan section during big games along with valley and pikeville

Prestonsburg has always been good, especially when region was at Prestonsburg. Other then them, Valley's are pretty good.

South Floyd use to be the best without a doubt but it's not the same anymore.

Lawrence Co always has a good Student section, come up with some crazy things every now and again and always have about 8 -10 students who paint there body red and black during the big games.

When Mike Hall and Rusty Tackett played South Floyd Fans dominated everyone! They not only had a killer student section, but the parents got into it just as much as the kids did!
P'burg's always got a good one. Valley always has a good one. And Paintsville's gets pretty crazy sometimes!

During some games, it's just as exciting to watch the students as it is to watch the game!

Last years district finals was a pretty good between sf and pburg! The fans were crazy that night!

But not as crazy as P'burg and AC in the 58th finals 2 yrs. ago!
This years 58th will be insane! No matter who is in the finals.

AC's fan section is absolutley awesome, especially in big games such as last night(P-Burg). You could feel the arena shake from them jumpin around and making noise. Plus they are the only school around here(from what I have seen) to have fans who actually paint there bodies for in-season games...

Yeah i agree. They use to have the Best fans, now they have the LEAST fans. It looked like a Jr. Pro game as far as the amount of people in the stands against Cordia the other night.

AC has one of the best....they have so much school pride and thats awesome....Paintsville and Valley also have alot of school pride and get very crazy all the time.....and did anyone notice the P.A. guy at the AC and P-burg game the other night....he was going absolutely crazy during the end of the game.....thats probably the craziest ive ever seen a P.A. announcer but u couldnt blame him after the comeback AC made....but j/w if anyone noticed....lol pretty funny stuff to see

Yeah i noticed the PA announcer at the AC/P-burg game.. That was funny. He went nuts there for a little bit. But i think that AC has a great fan section cause they show a lot of spirit in the game. P-burg has a good one too and Pike Central.

I don't think South Floyd will be like it was again when Micheal, Rusty and them played the whole communitty looked forward to those games every week. It was hard to find a seat at any game during those years. The School is just not the same it changed alot in the four years I went there.

South Floyd was hungry for a winner when the 2000's came in and the fans grasped that success. There was a band playing at games which add's to the school spirit and also brings in more people because their kids are involved, They now do not have one. The grade school's in the area unfortunately have been playing on the same night as the high school and thus people choose to go to see their kids involved in the grade school and who could blame them. I believe the revenue from the games are not that far off from before and I have noticed wherever I go watch a game the crowds are down unless it is the District. Advertisement also helps and South Floyd has not recieved their schedules yet. There are many things that venture in to the reasons why high school games are not attended as well. Then again one can look back and think that the crowds were so much larger before and really just like anything else they are not. The Johnson Central crowd was a pretty good size crowd and it was the first game of the year. When the Floyd County teams are there then the crowd will be also.

I agree. But maybe after the Raiders start winnin a couple of games this year and shows everyone that they are the real deal this year people will start to come and watch them again. I hate when a team wins a Regional Tourn. or something an when they get to go somewhere big they have fans that havent been to more than 3 games before they won it.

I love going to high school basketball games in Eastern Kentucky and seeing the school spirit and pride shown by not only the alum and faculty, but by the students, and if youa sk me, Eastern KY has some of the best student sections in the state. Paintsville's "Runyon's Rowdies," South Floyd's "Hi Hat Crazies," and I even heard of calling the Allen Central section "Martin's Maniacs." I don't know if I could pick the best, but one of my favorite's is definitley Allen Central. Even though the boys only won 3 games last year, that didn't stop the students from painting up in red and blue. They jump, scream, yell, and get into games more than any section I know of. And how about the football players at Paintsville? They support the Tiger basketball team by wearing their football jerseys and pounding on the "Runyon's Rowdies" sign, and waives of blue and white fill the lower left corner of the bleachers. I LOVE 'EM ALL!!!! Keep it up 15th Region!!! You're one of the best!!!!!

i would like to see south floyd fans make a comeback....they are usually quiet now days...every now ant then ull see a painted guy with panty hose or ull see a guy in reff uniform with short shorts but they need more then 2...im calling south floyd fans out this year
