what do you guy prefer? i like grass...i just never was fond of the turf's rubber getting all in my helmet and mouth everytime i got tackled...and i just like getting dirty too, makes me feel like ive really played a football game.

I like both but if i had to choose one i would take turf because it would make me a little quicker than what i would be on grass

It doesnt matter to me, both have their advantages and disadvantages, but if i had to choose i would pick grass but only if it is maintained properly like tomcat mentioned

Defintely grass, i just like getting dirty. Just doesn't feel right when after a ball game you don't have any mud or grass stains on your jersey.

Is too hard to keep a grass field looking as good as you can turf. Hard to beat just replacing it every 10 years.

grass... but with all the football games, soccer games and whatever it is the band does turf is becoming a nescessary evil

it depends....if its bermuda grass... heck ya... and if its that astro turk wit those rubber pieces i wouldnt mind but some of these fields are rediculus(spell)

how about campbell county ... they have grass and then they mixed that rubber stuff into it...... weird

i love the feel of grass but the field turf stuff that mixes grass and turf is good stuff.

ER is gettin turf i think when im a Junior, im a frosh right now. and it hinkwe are getting a fieldhouse on the hill beside the home bleachers also

Torn here - love grass- like mentioned before, it just doesn't seem right to come out of a football game clean! On the other hand, all that mud on a rainey October night makes the footballs very slippery! We don't have turf, but I'd say there is an advantage in bad weather.

i would prefer to play on grass...but some people/teams like to have a football field that looks nice so they go with turf

grass...i've played at pikeville and hate it the rubber peices get in your helmet and in your eyes...only time it is better is in bad weather...
