South Floyd's Freshmen and JV teams scrimmaged this morning. Jv won by like 20.
jody scored all the points for the freshman hes the only thing they have...slone didnt do nothing.

It just makes sense that the JV team should beat the freshmen team. Just the same as the Freshman team should be able to beat there middle school team.

Well i was there to and jody led the freshman in scoring...i think he had about 30...he is not only the best freshman but the best on the jv as well.

was you keeping stats ace...it was over 25...Jody is the best freshman player they have and is also the best jv player
I disagree Adam is much better and so is Lyle.

I thought both teams played hard today. Some of the players played better than they had been and they should be able to win some games now.

Boys the facts are this. Jody had to transfer half way threw his 8th grade year to have a chance on winning the county tourney in middle school. He started this year at p-burg thinking they was going to be a better team than SF. Then he come back to SF because he found out after practice a few weeks they wouldnt be. Jody will go to where he thinks he will win the most games and have to do as little conditioning and practice as he can get away with. He wants the stars name, but dont want to pay the price for getting it out there.

People are talking about SF not having a fan base this year but that is the least of their worries. Look at this thread and how many SF players are downing other players from their own team. What kind of sportsmanship is that?? This should not happen, ever!!! I was at the scrimmage and I agree if the JV cant beat freshman then where should they be, On the bench is my opinion. I will be honest, the freshman team couldnt do anything right the first half and i believe if they had a little more time with the way they were playing the second half they would have won. There wasnt any one player that stood out in this game and for the most part they passed, blocked, some even tried to tackle (which was the wrong sport) but they got the practice time they needed and this will help them in the future. Boys, stop logging on here and just bragging on yourself or having your parents do that for you because everyone is figuring out who you are and it is beginning to put a damper on team spirit!!

Someone once said if you are good enough then other people will brag on you. These kids could be pretty good later if they have healthy attitudes about what it takes to be winners. Ethan Johnson being back next year along with the younger kids will still make South Floyd a good team. Posts on here about team members in a derogatory manner probably should cease as of now I would say. Just a thought.

I don't think there are any ghosts at SF..However i do think that the Jv freshman scrimmage was a good one but the freshman could have definately done better
if Jody had to do it over and he knew everyone was going to make a big deal about it he would have actually tried and instead of having 25 he would have dropped about 40

I do not believe #12 is Jody. I do think he will be a good player and will make a name for himself early on in his career. He has potential and hopefully will continue to work hard.

I just dont understand why everyone is worried about who wins this game. I mean, it isnt like they go to the same school and play for the same coaches or anything is it? Boys, you need to build each other up, in all classes, not try to put each other down. I know that all on the freshman team isnt on the JV, but ALL of you still represent SF. Show some school support and brag on the other team instead of compairing the two.
