I was at the game and I'm proud to say thats the best I'v seen SF play this year with their heads in the game and not complaining and I agree with another post about good things. I do see good things for SF in the near future if they play like they did tonight. Keep your heads up and play hard it'll work itself out!

I couldn't make the game, but it looks like a good one. Too bad SF lost. I have faith in my Raiders and Coach Hall the boys will be fired up for Friday night against East Ridge.

great game to watch! perry central hit a 3 to send it to the first overtime! Ryan Johnson made an awesome block at the end of the first overtime to keep a guy from making a wide open lay up! Then towards the end of the second overtime tj hall from sf got whistled for a foul 50 feet from the basket which really hurt the raiders chances! But all in all it was a great game to watch!

I agree with Osiris. The Raiders played very solid tonight, but to me, their biggest concern is their lack of defense. In order to win the big games, their offense needs to feed off of defense. Their offense in not a problem. They have the best offense in the 15th IMO, but their D' is questionable. If they start to pick up the defensive intensity, they are going to be very tough. On ther otherhand, I was very impressed with the defense of Ryan Johnson tonight. He has played like a leader all year long and this is exactly the way he can play. He's possibly the best player in the region. If his teammates had played with the same intensity he played with tonight, SF would have prevailed.....

As far as a team, I witnessed several instances where PCC players just drove the lane uncontested and scored. Also, the 3-pointer the PCC player hit to put it in to OT, their was no one within 10 feet of him. With a few kinks worked out, and they realize defense is crucial in order for them to win, this team will be a team to be reckoned with.....

To PCC's credit, they are a very good team. #15 is an absolute ball player. He scored almost every time he touched the ball and scored nearly 30 points. They are definitely one of the top contenders in the 14th and are well-coached. I was impressed with both teams tonight....Good game....

Agreed they are lacking on the defensive side of the ball. I think they should play man to man most of the time if they can keep from getting into foul trouble. Coach Hall likes the 2-3 zone about as much as Coach Johnny Martin of AC does but PCC shot SF out of the zone twice tonight. I think SF plays together when they're playing man to man. jmo

They do noy play a lot of man to man because of their lack of team speed. most centers can beat Ryan l man on man but having to deal with him in the middle of the zone is a lot harder and after watching tominght Ryan J and Jjut are the two that play good man to man. and two can not gaurd five.
Stats where as followed not like reported earlier by a poster:
Mason Hall 22 points 4 reb 5 assist
Ethan Johnson 15 pts, 4 reb, 3 assist
T.J. Hall 2 pts 5reb
Ryan Johnson 25pts 6 reb 8 assist
Ryan Little 20pts 14rebs
Justin 10pts 3 reb
MaTT 1 REB

oN A SIDE NOTE RYAN jOHNSON NOW HAS 1011 CAREER PTS, moving him to 6th all time

Even though it was a loss, nice bounce back game for the Raiders. Defense has been a problem all year, kids act as if they have sandbags on their shoulders which prevents them from putting a hand in someones face during a shot. Even mediocre shooters can have a field day if left wide open, defense needs to become focus, rather than finding that sweet spot on the offensive end. Use this game to build and learn, remember that its how you end the season- not so much what happens in the middle. Hang tough.

GOOD WIN FOR PC. THEY HIT THE BIG THREE WHEN THEY HAD TO. THE RAIDERS PLAYED HARD, BUT CAME UP A LITTLE SHORT. THIS WAS A PHYSICAL GAME WITH EVERYONE PLAYING UNDER CONTROL. AS WITH ANY GAME, THERE WERE A FEW MISSED CALLS, BUT BOTH TEAMS ADAPTED WELL TO THE OFFICALS. CONGRATS TO BOTH COACHES FOR HAVING THEIR TEAMS READY TO PLAY. THE RAIDERS SEEM TO BE A LITTLE WEAK DEFENSIVELY IN THE MIDDLE, BUT THAT IS A CORRECTABLE PROBLEM AND EXPECT COACH HALL, BEING THE COACH THAT HE IS, TO ADDRESS THIS IN PRACTICE. WAS A LITTLE DISSAPOINTED IN THE CROWD TURN OUT, BUT IT WAS A GOOD SUPPORTIVE CROWD. EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS A LOSS, THIS IS A GAME THAT THE RAIDERS CAN BUILD ON. DON'T COUNT THE RAIDERS OUT JUST YET. "THAT WIHICH DOESN'T KILL YOU, MAKES YOU STRONGER. :salute: :thumb:
