Current Record 11-6

Jan 21 South Carolina....W
Jan 24 @Auburn.............W
Jan 29 Arkansas.............L
Feb 1 @Mississippi St.......W
Feb 4 @Florida.................L
Feb 7 Tennessee.............L
Feb 11 @Vanderbilt..........W
Feb 15 Georgia................W
Feb 18 @South Carolina....W
Feb 22 Mississippi.............W
Feb 25 @LSU.....................L
Mar 1 @Tennessee.............L
Mar 5 Florida.....................W

Heres my predictions. The cats will wrap up the regular season at 19-10 heading into the SEC. Winning two SEC tournament games to give them a 21-11 record heading in the tournament as 6 or 7 seed

As a 7 seed UK would have to face a 10 seed in the first round.

To give you an idea of the type of teams that get 10th seeds. Here are last years 10th seeds.

St.Marys (1 and out)
Creighton (1 and out)
NC State (advanced to sweet 16)
Iowa (1 and out losing to Cincy in rd one)

The winner of the 7 and 10 game plays the number 2 seed baring a mircale from a 15 seed. As a 2 seed you hate to see a dangerous team like Kentucky in round 2.

The two seeds this year IMO will go to
Gonzaga
Texas
Memphis
Pittsburg

So we can look to face a team like this if we get out of the first round.

I would really like to see UK end up at a 6th seed or higher. Here is last years 11th seeds..

UAB (advanced to second round by knocking off LSU)
N Iowa (one and out)
UTEP (one and out)
UCLA (one and out)

Second round we would face a 3 seed.
Here are my predicted 3 seeds for this year.
Indiani
Villinova
Michigan St
Washington

Be a tough road for UK to advance to the 16 at a 6 or 7 seed. But its quite possible they could advance.

BTW, Last year as a 7th seed West Virgina advanced to the elite 8 and come almost advanced to the Final Four.

Michigan St as a 5 seed advanced to the final four.

Three number 6 seeds advanced to the sweet 16.

Wisconsin as a 6 seed advanced to the elight 8 and come hair knocking of the North Carolina to advance to the final four.

How do you think UK will finish (record wise) up this season? And what tournament seeding you see them getting?

19-10 or 18-11 heading the the SEC tourny...It's too hard to tell how they will do without knowing the seeds but they'd have to win at least a game to get into the tournament, and would probably be an 8 or 9 seed...

I agree with every thing that you said in this. How far do you think they will make it in the NCAA?

I think they'll get beat by Florida both times they play, and possibly to south carolina once

Kentucky spanked Georgia around @ Georgia but yet they're not even as good as them??? Makes sense...
