Trimble out at JC

Johnson Central has just fired there head basketball coach after leading them to the District Title and a region-semi final appearance. I think that this is a bunch of bologna. They definately have...

I just got this from a reliable source late last night. Last night the PHS Board met to discuss the future of football coach David LeMaster. It appears that newly hired assistant coach Chuke...

15th region players going on to play college ball

I would put the Stereo Type of a 15th region player on Craig Ratliff, JR VanHoose, Todd Tackett, Jeremy Hall, and some others. All those kids went to D1 schools. A good book to read if anyone...

Landon Slone

As far as I know Slone is the only one getting looks from D1 schools. I have a buddy on the staff of EKU's Basketball team that said Travis Ford has tapes of him and seems to be interested. I have...

Freshman Benchpress

Freshmen shouldn't really worry about bench press. Back when I was a Freshman in HS I was 6'1 190 lbs. I benched 250. The thing I was worried more about was squats. I could squat about 300 and...

Top 10 players in the 15th

According to the Mountain News Exspress, Booher said he thought Bentley was the best defender in the Region. I agree, and so does many other people. You can't play zone on a dangerous player...

Landon Slone

I know Pugh is coming back, but I don't see him hurting the team. I believe he will come off as a sixth man to give Bundy a break since he has to have back surgery on Monday. But Pugh could come in...

Landon Slone

I agree whiz, I believe he uses the pump fake down low better than anyone. Get's the defender up in the air and moves his body around him or draws the foul. Very intelligent for a Frosh.

Top 10 players in the 15th

This is the best list I have seen[/quote]

Obviously that can't be the best list you have seen. Slone at #10 come on...lol. And besides some of the names aren't correct, its Jamie McCarty from...

Who will win coach of the year in the 15th?

Crisp should get it, depending on how far Paintsville gets in the Region, I think Runyon has done an exceptional job with the young kids he has got.

If you were a college scout...

I had the chance to be a grad assist. at Marshall after my playing days at Akron, the top kid on my list out of the mountains has to be Blume. You can't build a program around him, but he is...

Class A Top 10 2005

Why, I understand winning region and all, but playing any class A school up north is just the same as someone begging to get blasted over seas.

Prestonsburg 68 Paintsville 53

Sounds about like a shooter PBurg had back in the 2003-2003 season that I saw with a pretty blonde. :D Fact of the matter is, both teams don't have a shot at winning the Region this year. They...

15th Fantasy Team

Jarrell would have to be on my starting team. I believe she had 26 points and around 30 boards against JC the other night. She has already been named player of the week, over the past several weeks...

Pburg vs. paintsville

1) Blackcat, why do you think this game might end up in a brawl?
2) The Tigers may be young, but they sure didn't back down from the SR. dominated Eagles this past Friday.
3) If it comes down to...

Who would win, PIKEVILLE or Johnson Central???

The only reason Sullivan hit him is because he ran it up the middle. Blume doesn't run up the middle, he runs outside and around everyone. Hits the corner faster than anyone I've ever seen, and...

Apple Bowl 2005

Paintsville doesn't have all that much team speed. If their offseason workout has helped them like everyone back in Paintsville has said then great. But if they have made small improvements to...

Who would win, PIKEVILLE or Johnson Central???

Blume could've out ran these kids backwards. If he hit the corner he was gone. Sullivan is on the line and Shurtleff would have to get out of the box to even attempt to make a tackle. So they...

Who would win, PIKEVILLE or Johnson Central???

One of my close family friends played at Pburg. He was a pitcher and a basketball player. Before games, they had to go lift then go do their thing in their other respective sports. Pburg football...
