So WE have to pay for it???

Doesn't the state have more important things to spend their money on?
#4
That's what sickened me. How much money has already gone into the screw-up by all parties!

Imagine the money that the state will make off this race year after year. Look at the big picture.
#6
long term there is money to be made but short term it stinks
#7
Chalk it up for an investment into the future and hope it doesn't get more costly as the future progresses

Although i couldn't care less about the race. I guess it will bring in money in the long run. PLus i would rather it be this than a paid vacation to himself.

I have no problem with this. Other states have to pay 8 and 9 figure numbers for arena's etc....

Another Democrat spending.
Personally i think the state is going to be out more money on the track than they will gain from the race. I say screw the road, use that 3.6 to create some new jobs, not a construction job that will last for a couple of months and be done.

Bershear has been the most conservative governor in many years.

I quess you will vot for big spender Williams, just because he is republican, even though Beshear is more conservative.

Beshear = Saint :eyeroll:

I love it how Steve harps on David about being a hypocrite for gambling across the river while opposing it in Kentucky...While his wife is on TV going on about how he is "in church every time the doors open" but fails to mention her husband took $$$$ from the gambling industry to get casinos legalized, not to mention elected.

Steve brags about growing a surplus on the backs of state employees while hiring crony after crony.

There is zero difference in the moral fiber of the two IMO.
