A woman who became enraged because her boyfriend didnât buy her a 40-ounce bottle of beer stabbed him in the arm after striking him in the back with a TV tray and a chair, investigators said.
Doña Ana County sheriffâs deputies on Thursday afternoon were dispatched to a home in the 9500 block of Butterfield Boulevard, where investigators said Alexa Monet Rodriguez, 22, threw a 3-pound hand weight at the victim with such force that it became lodged in the wall.
Investigators said Rodriguez then grabbed a 14-inch stainless steel knife and chased her boyfriend around the house, stabbing him once in the arm. Rodriguez then threw the knife at the victim and fled the scene, but was later apprehended, deputies said
