What schools have the most wins since 1995
#1
Give the schools name and how many wins they have since 1995
#2
The schools that come to mind are either Scott County, Corbin, or Oldham.
#3
It would be a lot easier to figure since 1998, since that's when the KHSAA online scoreboard goes back to. Scott Co has far and away more Sweet 16 wins in this time period. Ballard is second and Mason Co is third.
#4
Paintsville's record since 1995:

357 wins, 211 losses
#5
I would say top 5....

Scott Co.
Ballard
Mason Co.
Trinity
Warren Central

I dont know for sure. Just guessing!!!

I don't know about since 95, but since 98 Scott County is 446-85. That's an average of 28 wins and 5 loses per year.

What about in the 14 th region

I calculated the records of the teams mentioned above plus Lexington Catholic since the 1997/98 year. I don't think Trinity and Painstville are justified in entering this conversation. The records are:

Scott County- 446-85 84%
Ballard- 421-105 80%
Lexington Catholic- 408-113 78%
Mason County- 383-132 75%
Corbin- 365-122 75%
Warren Central- 359-138 72%
Oldham County- 341-134 72%
Trinity- 318-162 66%
Paintsville- 270-185 59%

This post made me curious so I did some calculating of my own with the best that I could come up with.

Clay County is 346-140 since 1998. From 2008-2012, each season the Tigers had double digit figures in the loss column, also in 2002 and 2003. Those really hurt the program and leave an average of 21 wins and 8-9 losses per season. For most places that's outstanding but we only have 1 region title to show for it in 12 years. It all accumulates to around .712% win percentage.

I just thought this was interesting and significant because it is pretty much all after the Keith era.

Looks like the three teams i mentioned off the top of my head were prety dang close.

I just threw Corbin and Oldham in there because you mentioned them. I also threw Paintsville and Trinity in because someone suggested them. I don't think those four teams have been in the same league over this entire time period as Scott County, Lexington Catholic, Ballard etc.. There are over 100 wins that separate Scott County from Oldham County.

What other teams have over 400 wins since the 97/98 season?

That would put Clay Co between Warren Central and Oldham County.

Yep.

I'm sure we are leaving out a ton of good programs. Any other schools have 400 wins are more during this time period?
#15
According to the KHSAA website, Shelby Valley is 335-135 during that period for a winning percentage of .712.

I saw that and was wondering why some of the games in 97-98 and 98-99 had no scores for them.

Yeah, looks like they may also be missing a few games during those seasons. In '97-'98 there were only 16 games listed.

Starting with the 97-98 season, PRP is 402-103.

KHSAA scoreboard is missing games from 06-07 (PRP was actually 25-7) and 07-08 (PRP was actually 26-5)

In the last 16 seasons, PRP has NOT lost double-digit games in any season. Won 23 or more in 14-of-16 seasons.

Winning percentage of 79.6.

And no, I'm NOT from PRP.

Also, John Hardin's first season was 01-02 .. when it 2-24 without seniors. From 02-03 season forward, Bulldogs are 225-97 (69.8 percent winning percentage).

I don't think anyone is going to come close to Scott County.

I agree my friend.

I counted perry centrals record up and between 1997 and 2013 their record was 362-116. And I know that they won at least 20 games the first 2 years so that would put them over 400 wins since 1995 but just barely. I will have the exact total in the next couple of days but they probably have about 405 wins.
#23
shelby valley posted an impressive 117 wins to 14 losses in the 4 years i played for them 07-10
#24
So far the schools with over 400 wins during this time period are;

Scott Co. 446
Ballard 421
Lexington Catholic 408
PRP 402
