According to KHSAA School Directory, Wolfe County has hired Johnny Rose as the new head baseball coach.


Anyone have any info?

From what I could gather, he had been an assistant coach for the baseball team and is a current assistant coach for the boys basketball team as well. So, you were right about them staying within the school system.

Congrats Coach Rose. Wolfe is a tough place to win at. Combs found that out this year with a 7-17-1 record. Hope Coach Rose can have better luck. It's very tricky there without a feeder program.

What kind of baseball programs do they offer for the youth of
Wolfe County? Never saw them in any tournaments or anything.
Do they have a little league or play somewhere else like Jackson or Stanton?
