The folks you vote with, your liberal kindred as it were, are all about things like petitioning the White House to cancel any future Easter egg rolls because they consider that to be a form of animal abuse. While other of your voting brethren want to completely eliminate gasoline, and any form of coal fired electricity or natural gas gotten by virtue of the fracking process. So, let me ask you something there vector. Right before you give up all forms of meat and most other supermarket fare, and driving your own vehicles, and agree to pay a fortune to heat and cool your home, having a 5 to 10 thousand dollar deductible on your health insurance policy and generally living life like some kind of mindless teletubby in La-La Land, are you really willing to give all that up for the sake of pulling that handle with the D on it? Cause it ain't working out so good for most working people. :dudecomeon:

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, a politician with the courage to think and govern lucidly, has just delighted his constituents with anti global warming legislation. The CO2 tax that Obama would hang on the US, has in fact, been in effect since 2011 in Australia. It didn't take long for the common man down under to start screaming, as they found that prices for all manner of business and service on which they had become reliant, quickly rose out of their reach.
ARTICLE EXCERPT---
"Today the tax that you voted to get rid of is finally gone; a useless destructive tax which damaged jobs, which hurt families’ cost of living and which didn't actually help the environment is finally gone,” declared Abbott in a news conference after the historic Senate vote, drawing praise from across Australia and around the world. Calling the carbon scheme a “9 percent impost on power prices, a $9 billion handbrake on our economy,” the prime minister estimated that the repeal would save Australian voters and businesses more than $8 billion per year. That works out to over $500 for the average household" , he added.
If the tax had not been killed, it was set to increase dramatically, dealing another major blow to embattled consumers and the economy. In 2015, the anti-carbon plot was even supposed to become a full-fledged cap-and-trade regime, where “permits” to emit CO2 could be bought and sold in a “carbon market.”

We here in the US, should never kid ourselves into thinking that liberals aren't aware of the damage their policies will wreak on this nation. The fact is, they don't care. All the talk about the middle class is nothing more than a smoke screen to conceal their true intentions. I keep saying it. We must vote out the La-La's this November. That will give drowning America a chance to come up for a breath of air. Then in order to give her a real shot at survival, we have to elect a conservative president. The liberals will hate that but, nobody can argue the good done for the country under Ronald Reagan and his conservative principles. So, they can darn well sit in the corner and brood while they watch the economy rebound. Rebuilding our military alone would greatly revitalize our economy, So will finally building the Keystone XL Pipeline, (I told you that would never happen under this President), and lifting the drilling moratorium on government held lands. And obviously, thanks to this administration, America has had the ultimate crash course in civics. Everybody understands how much damage the past 6 plus years has been to this country, whether Dems will admit it publicly or not.
We all should take notice of the anti-fracking movement too. These are the very same environment zealots that have through legislative maneuvering gotten a strangle hold on the coal and oil industries. If they (liberals) have their way, the cost for burning any kind of fossil fuel will become exorbitant in the very near future, and that includes natural gas. Is America really ready to give up so much to clean up an environment that already looks pretty darn pristine?

Interesting, TRT, we are living in a time where it seems like most leaders around the world are leaning far to the left on issues like this. It is refreshing to see someone take a stand for once. Just a few years ago we had GWB leading the United States, and conservative leaders such as Sarkozy from France and even people like Tony Blair who are conservative compared to some of the leaders now.
In this time you have people like Fernandez for Argentina, Thorning-Schmidt for Denmark, and now Renzi for Italy who lean far to the left, along with Obama. Pretty scary times.

Scary times indeed. There is one thing that sets these days apart from the scary days of the past. And that is this global awareness movement. Supercomputers interface perfectly from every nation and using every language. Up until 1900, man's knowledge level was doubling at a rate of every 100 years. Check out this little tid bit.
Knowledge Doubling Curve
"Buckminster Fuller created the “Knowledge Doubling Curve”; he noticed that until 1900 human knowledge doubled approximately every century. By the end of World War II knowledge was doubling every 25 years. Today things are not as simple as different types of knowledge have different rates of growth. For example, nanotechnology knowledge is doubling every two years and clinical knowledge every 18 months. But on average human knowledge is doubling every 13 months. According to IBM, the build out of the “internet of things” will lead to the doubling of knowledge every 12 hours."
http://www.industrytap.com/knowledge-dou...hours/3950
Say what? Remember, the scriptures say that in the time of the end, "Knowledge will be increased." Soon, man's knowledge will double twice daily. It's hard to wrap one's head around that one, pun intended! Now, add to the equation Thomas Jefferson's observation when he said; "Knowledge is power." And we immediately recognize how governments/government in charge of all this knowledge would be in a position of tremendous power. It's not hard to think that one man could ruthlessly rule this earth.
So, to return our attention to the present, we see a global collaboration of the ideas espoused on the left. This is why the La-La's are so upset about Australia. They had worked so hard to tuck the Aussies into the fold, and now they've jumped back out. The idea is to gain momentum converting the masses (by feeding them endless repetitions designed to ultimately convert them) and thereby the countries, to liberalism. Like dominos. At least we know for now, that they're smart enough to call a spade a spade down under.
As I have mentioned in the past and, again touching on scripture. God confounded man's language at the tower of Babel, the reason for this action is paraphrased as follows; "anything they can imagine, they will be able to do." Like I pointed out above, man doesn't have that problem anymore. In fact, the internet is a superconductor of knowledge sharing. If you ask me, man's march toward destiny just hit overdrive.
