Not really, both teams really struggled. South Floyd really had them where they wanted them, tied 6-6 around 10 yards to go with around 3 mins. Then Betsy laynes number 54 just ripped the ball away from the runner. Betsy laynes defense is solid but that's about it. Forced 3 fumbles or so. Only had two drives on offense where they moved the ball well. Offensive line is worst line I've seen in a long time.

The Battle of Mud Creek, what a battle it was!

Both teams came out slow offensively and could not get anything going what so ever. But both defenses were solid with Betsy Layne edging out South Floyd with the turnover battle.

Big win for the Bobcats with not winning a single game last season to winning the first game of the season, that's a moral booster for this young Bobcat team and hopefully a building block.

However, our thoughts and prayers are still with the Raiders' as they lost a faculty member and someone that their community really loved!

Coach Parsons does a heck of job, talent is down over at Betsy Layne but he will always have his troops playing hard
