NeverTrumpers are evidently still lurking about. In fact it would seem that Speaker Ryan and Leader McConnell rather prefer to be in the minority, than to lead under the direction of President Trump. Now, that's not to say that they have not subverted and otherwise stonewalled admirably, but these days their covert affiliation with 'the resistance' would not seem to be quite the best kept secret.

At any rate with cover sufficiently blown, Ryan and McConnell will need help to continue the stonewalling. That is unless they want the Trump Presidency to succeed. Thus with the midterms of 2018 approaching, help may well be on the way. Having forestalled any meaningful progress on construction of the promised new border wall for at least 6 months, Dems and RINO's are jubilant in celebration of their manipulative prowess, having made it extremely hard for President Trump to fulfill his number one campaign promise. So now the RINO's and Dems believe they will have ammo enough to take back the House this November. Can you imagine the barrage of 'Where's the border wall ads" to come? And you can bet your bottom dollar that after Ryan and McConnell have done such a noteworthy job of denying funding for the wall, they won't have the first word of support in DJT's defense on the matter. Kind of gives the concept of divided government a whole new nuance, does it not? Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven.

The only question IMHO, is whether or not the voters allow themselves to be bamboozled yet again, walking right back into the same old establishment trap. And BTW, it's not just Trump that RINO's would like to see thwarted, the lasers on the backs of the hated Freedom Caucus and Tea Partiers are just as bright.
