7 on 7 action at Montgomery co. Powell county 3-1 over Montgomery, Powell county 3-1 over Rowan co. and Powell and Lawrence tied 1-1.
Powell's looking good in 7 on 7 and really has a good qb and 4 or 5 kids who can catch the football. :thumpsup:

With Mike Whitaker running the show at Powell, look for a really explosive offense.
Break out year for the Powell county pirates. Their line is monsters. 2 tackles Ledford is 6'2 290 and Elam is 6-3 330 and benches 330 pounds.

Did Rowan or Powell tie Lawrence? The thread title says Rowan but the post says Powell.

Powell Co. has really turned it around this year. I couldnt believe it was Powell co. after watching the team the last few years and then watching a 7 on 7 game against Paris. It is unbeleivable how much different they look. Mike Whitaker will do wonders and the unthinkable at Powell Co. See it for urself and if you get a chance stop by Powell Co. High Schools fields on this tues. the 19th and watch them play Paris.
