This is one of my favorites coming in at number 2:
"Dec. 22, 2003 - Playing just one day after his father passed away, Favre lit up the Raiders for 399 passing yards and four touchdowns in a 41-7 victory on Monday Night Football. Favre was overcome with emotion, hugging teammates and shedding tears the entire night."

I agree! Hard not to love the guy. He is as genuine and humble as they come and one heck of a football player to boot.
