Murderer Vs Conquerer

You kill 2 or 3 people and you're a murderer; you kill hundreds of thousands or even millions and you're a great conquerer or great king or a great general or a great leader.

Am I the only one who sees the irony here?

There are a few exceptions (i.e. Hitler)

another question to think about: How important do you have to be to be considered assasinated instead of just murdered?
