With the threat of inclement weather over the weekend, the No. 9 Kentucky baseball team has postponed its Friday contest with Purdue, UK head coach John Cohen announced.
âWe are committed to getting in every game possible of our four-game series with Purdue,â Cohen said. âAfter already losing a game due to weather during our first weekend in Mobile, it is imperative that we play as many games as possible from our originally scheduled 56-game slate. Purdue is a talented team from the Big Ten - one of the top conferences in the country - and we are excited to have them on our schedule.â
A decision will be made on Friday morning regarding potential times for the remaining four-game series with the Boilermakers
