The career PAT record according to KHSAA is 201 held by former Trinity kicker, I believe at 201. Merrick's unofficial total stands at 193 after tonight. He was 8-9. He hit the uprights for the first time in his four year career....after bad snap/hold. Merrick was set to attempt a 63 yd. FG....errant snap...Overbay(holder) picked up and ran for 50 yards nearly for a TD! Merrick, after many kickoffs, PAT's..and a tiring leg attempted a 58 yard field goal in 40 degree temps...later in game...kick was dead-center...falling inches short of cross-bar!
