Matt Baker Region 11 Individual Champ in Golf!

Congrats to Matt Baker for winning it his senior season. According to KHSAA he shot a 72 which gave him the championship. In second place was Victor Jewel of Hazard who shot a 74. Hazard won Region, and Powell Co was Region Runner up as a team.

He has been playing at LCC since he was in the 8th grade. Anyone know if he is going to play golf in college somewhere?

Matt Baker deserves to win. He has practiced hard and is a fitting champ. Carries himself well on the course and I imagine he does the same off the course. Hopefully he has been sending out letters because he should have no trouble getting a scholorship. Good job Matt and good luck at state.
