Not bad at all. 29 minutes is like playing only the first half and 5 minutes of the second half.

If he played the full 48 minutes he would have been on pace for something like 34 points. (obviously the per 48 minute stat is a little weak but it puts into context how nice of an achievement 19 points in 29 minutes is.)

Good game by Meeks!!! Glad to see him doing really well. Just think that if Meeks would have stayed with the team, that would have been that PURE shooter that the team would have needed. But he is living his dream in the NBA.

Alright smarty-pants , I even made a point to say that it is a weak stat. You don't have to rub it in. Many scouts and coaches use the per-48-minutes stat. There are obvious times, like the one you listed, that it is irrelevant, but for Jodie's case it makes some sense.

What it means is if he stayed and became a more rounded player he woulda got more money coming in to the draft as a junior or senior. Would HAVE been a superior 1st round draft pick.

Perhaps. Jodie had an amazing year and basically dominated Ky basketball. I don't think he would have had that huge of a year with all the all-stars Cal brought in. I do believe he would have still lead our team in scoring though.

Jodies career in the NBA is going to be an exciting one to follow, I only wish we could have kept him for at least one more year here in big blue nation, Championship banner would have been nice.
