Police are appealing for witnesses or cell phone footage of a fight between parents at a children's soccer match in Sydney involving a pair of scissors and a folding chair, The (Sydney) Sunday Telegraph reported.


Officers said two men became involved in a disagreement with a coach over a player being called off the field during an under-11s game, in Hoxton Park in the city's west, about 12:50pm Saturday.

"It is alleged one of the men then threatened the two others with a pair of plastic-handled scissors. It will be alleged the armed man was assaulted with a folding chair," police said in a statement.

Cops called to the scene arrested three men, all connected with one team, and charged them with a variety of offenses before ordering them to appear in court next month.

lord, trying to have a wrestling match at a soccer game lol. on the other hand this is Ridiculous, having a stupid fight a little kids soccer game, fans are gonna cheer for there team and if you can't deal with them saying stuff for there team then simply don't come and risk a child getting hurt or someone else getting hurt. Its the Coach's decision who he has on the field and who he don't have on the field, Not the Parents/Fans, stuff like this can get kids hurt if the kid is close enough and it can also hurt the other fans that are there trying to watch the game
