Somerset hits HR #44

Somerset's Jarred Price hit Somerset's 44th HR of the year, in a 4-3 win over crosstown rival Southwestern in the opening round of the 12th region tournament. In tonights semi-finals games, Somerset / West Jessimine will play at 5:30 and Pulaski Co / Mercer Co at 8:00.
All games are being played at Southwestern High School.

Just trying to help promote a few of our players. We still have 3 very good, unsigned players. Very proud of the entire team. It's the second year in a row that 11 different players have hit HRs for the Briar Jumpers.

10 different players have hit a total of 46 HRs this season. I incorrectly stated 11 in the original post.

Storm Wilson (JR) 6
JP Henderlight (SR), Ben Purcell (SR) & Jarred Price (JR) 5 each
Colby Hall (SR) 4
