An "Economic Quality" Scorecard Of The Obama Administration
#1
The Obama economy in a nutshell in a few words and a two pictures. Obama has borrowed and spent an unprecedented amount of money during the past 3 years 5 months. So, I ask you liberals, what have Americans gotten for their money and why should anybody vote to give him a second term?

With the US presidential election just 4 months away, focus on tier 1 economic data will become acute, as will headlines blasting top-line data without much, if any, underlying "between the lines" analysis. Which is why we have decided to put together a template of key data series that in our opinion best capture the dramatic shift in the labor composition of the US welfare state under the Obama administration, starting with January 2009. Here are the facts:
  • Total Nonfarm Payrolls have decreased by -1.3 million from December 2008 (134,379K) to June 2012 (133,088); Source: St. Louis Fed
  • Full-time jobs based on the Household Survey, have decreased by 2.5 million from 117,039K to 114,573K; Source: Table A.9, BLS
  • Parti-time jobs based on the Household Survey, have increased by 1.6 million from 26,3187 to 27,894K; Source: Table A.9, BLS
  • Foodstamps recipients have increased by 14.6 million from 31.567 million to 46,187 (as of April 2012); Source: USDA
  • Disability recipients have increased by 1.3 million from 7.427 million to 8.733 million; Source: Social Security Administration
  • And that, in a nutshell, is how the economy has performed over the past 42 months.

And all of this is going to fall in the laps of our children and grandchildren. Mine don't want it. I wonder if those that support Obama and his policies are comfortable with passing it on.

Obama supporters have no problem with his policies, they are perfectly content with living off the government.

I have always said these kind of folks live only for today. Self gratification in the moment. They will never work to build a career or a life. If you hand them stuff they will take it of course. But, the reason the don't have anything is because they lack character and drive. All this bleeding heart baloney with regard to universal health care, and handing these guys the world is ridiculous. The honorable man chooses to get out and earn his bread. The man without honor, lays around, makes 30 babies and counting with whoever, and waits for some liberal to call him and tell him to come down and get his freebies.

Don't spending bills start in the House? Who has control of the House?

You dodged my questions, so why should I respond to yours?

Obama has gotten nearly everything that he has asked for from Congress, especially over the first two years when San Fran Nan was Speaker of the House. So, why has this been the weakest recovery in modern American history? Should Congress just give Obama a blank check? Is the problem that he has not spent enough money in your opinion? Come on, surely you can come up with a response that goes beyond your Obama talking points. (j/k - I don't think that you can.)

Why should I respond when you post falsehoods? You blame Obama for the spending, and all spending goes through the House, that is ran by your guys. You need to blame Bitch, Boner and the boys.

Not anymore, the US Senate has the house on ignore until such time as either the republicans take over the Senate or Obama is sent packing. That's why we haven't had a federal budget since the big O came to town. Harry Reid tables everthing coming up out of the House.

Do you remember arguing that you were not an Obama supporter? Do you remember claiming that you were considering voting for Romney. Sure you do. Yet you, purveyor of more campaign propaganda and more lies than any other dozen posters combined have the nerve to accuse others of lying! You are a hard core socialist, RV. Hard core. :hilarious:

RV, I don't recall you blaming Democrats, who controlled the House for the last two years of Bush's administration, for the explosion of the deficit in 2007 and 2008. I don't think that you have any problem with federal spending. OTOH, I would like to see the House withhold funding for the Obama programs that Democrats passed into law during his first two years in office and force a showdown. Yes, I have problems with moderate Republicans like Boehner in the House. You, however, seem to be behind Obama 110 percent, no matter how badly his programs are hurting your neighbors and your country.

Recession don't work that way, Einstein. A deep recession has historically been followed by a robust recovery because the economy has plenty of idle manufacturing capacity available for utilization.

Just wondering, vector - have you ever disagreed with any of Obama's opinions, or are your opinions the same as RV's? Confusednicker:
