Nice. The old one was looking pretty bad. Left a lot of room for additional state titles I see.

Not certain if they had trophies for the mythical titles from 1930, 43, and 57. I do not recall seeing them when I was a student in the early 80's but then I was interested in other things. If they did exist, they could have been destroyed when part of the school burned down in 1962. There were a lot of blackened and damaged trophies in a couple of cases in the 80's.

What I like about ours is we can change home and visitor name so the middle school can play up there.

Very nice! I hope money was spent to upgrade/replace the PA system. The last game I attended at FTH I could not understand one word the sound was so garbled. It may have been turned up too loud.

Yes it has been replaced. Also the Birds will have a new PA announcer.

Company I work with is hoping to make something similar to programs in KY. More to follow by spring I'd say.

Thanks for the info Chance. I may attend the FTH vs Campbell County game next Friday and the updated scoreboard/PA will be icing on the cake. Ha! Confusednicker:

That was one cold game at Whitley.

i like campbells better, the highlands one looks a little dumb... the way they did the years on the sides looks stupid. i liked the old one better. i kinda miss the old highlands style a little less fancy. i also think they go a little overboard with putting the winning years all over the place. it was better when it was just on the arch walking into the stadium

Gut, If I was the coach and got up on Highlands 8-7. Would have called a TO and got the team on the field for pictures!
