Raceland has to find a way to convert the point after or the so called big games will not be so big for them they will get beat....Missed a few against East Carter (should have been a running clock if they made them) and if they would have made the ones in the Ashland game we would be talking about something different. Also you can not give a team the ball on kick offs at the 35-40 yd line a good team will hurt you most of the time...

Guys you can spin it anyway you want, but the bottom line is teams that win big games, and play for championships, don't constantly make the same mistakes that Raceland makes. Yes the're a good team, and have been for a few years. But until they're able to correct these problems, and live up to their potential, they will be know as a good team that can't get the job done

Agreed Mightydawg. We are a traditional football school hashas had the same issue that everyone else in our area has, being paired with NKY teams in the playoffs. With that said i totally agree. Same mistakes and same complaints year in and year out. Turnovers and play calling. I did see improvement though with this team. They didnt allow Ashland to score off of them and got the offense back on the field. Got to get better in the kicking game. Play calling wasnt bad as far as the whole game goes. Just in situations. They need a goal line package as well as some sort of passing package from under center. Like a pro set out of the broken bone. Something. When u r gaining 5 and 6 yds a carry on 1st and 2nd down. On 2nd and short, take a shot down field. Elkins has enough arm to get it there. It doesnt have to be a 50 yd bomb. Just something to keep the dbs from playing bump and run all night b. they know all we will throw are screens, flat passes, and slants.
