Good job Tigers!! Don't know anything about Rutherford, but when you go on the road (especially all the way to Florida) and put up a victory in your first game, that has to be a confidence booster!!

Rutherford, is big physical and athletic. I watched gamefilm on them and thought that if Paintsville could control tempo and play good D, that the Tigers might stay within 10!!! Winning just blew me away!!!!
Rutherford's point guard has already signed with D1 South Ala. who is coached by former Paintsville standout, John Pelfrey.

Paintsville trqaied 15-9 after one, was down 3 points at the half, and trailed 45-40 going into the fourth when they outscored Rutherford 20-9 to win 60-54.
