The 'Rest of the Story'
#1
Paul Harvey is no longer with us but I'm sure he'd have done a monologue on this one...

ARTICLE EXCERPT---

The revelation that former CIA Director John Brennan made a secret trip to Moscow in March 2016, meeting with the Russian Federal Security Service (today’s version of the Soviet KGB), has heightened speculation that Brennan may have been a key figure behind the Trump-Russian collusion story.

According to the British newspaper The Guardian, Brennan passed derogatory material about Trump to eight senators in August and September 2016 (soon after Trump had been nominated at the Republican National Convention). One of the eight, Senator Harry Reid, then the Democratic Party leader of the Senate, was given information from the much discussed “Steele dossier.”

Not surprisingly, the material soon turned up on the front page of the New York Times

The 'rest' of the article is well worth the read, especially his tweets about DJT.

Note: Donald Trump is as blatant a liar (at least) as Bill Clinton. The idea that subterfuge changes that is ridiculous. Whatever one believes about environmental policy, economic policy, immigration policy, foreign policy, surely one must agree that a man who pays “escorts” to trim his wick while his wife recovers from birthing his son is a cad. Hello?
#3
Well if those escorts weren't in the 20-22 age group, then it really isn't like Bill Clinton.

Adultery is not defined nor mitigated by the age (or price) of the “escort.” Though, come to think of it, 💲130,000 is quite a lick, no pun intended.

I'm not trying to mitigate anything.

I'm trying to understand where you are going. You've got 4 threads open, and they are all unhinged.

Donald Trump is a pathological liar who says stuff you like. Where I’m going is where I’ve been. Politics is politics: the participants are no different, just the policies.

^^And once again semi-solid material breaches (albeit lethargically) the surface of the septic tank.

He hasn't lied about a thing that you can identify with any degree of surety whatever. You fill that head of yours up with MSN BS everyday because you're so desperate for a return to the days of Obama-esque rabid political correctness and clinical liberality, you mop up their gossip like a sponge. I tried to tell you how rough it was going to be for guys like you for the next 7 years. And hallelujah, 8 more after that. 16 glorious years of sanity.

Barrack Obama had 7 if his cabinet picks confirmed on inauguration day. Hillary Clinton was confirmed Secretary of State the following day. And now that we have a Republican President, compare the Obama confirmation process with the ridiculousness and traitorous behavior of the Dems in present day. They've managed to deny 'the people' a full government in stonewalling nominee confirmations now for a year and 3 months... and counting. Let alone the formal resistance announced by Dems the likes of John Lewis, Maxine Waters, Al Greene and every other Dem in the Federal Government and their deepstate collaborators. The more miserable you become, the more euphoric I become. Confusedinglepar

Nipping on the sauce while spiraling into the fits of a liberal panic mode because our president is accomplishing everything he said he would do. He's finally flipped. Kinda reminiscent of a rabid dog.

Aint he a sight?

I am neat. Clean too. Donald Trump had his lawyer pay Stormy $130,000 and we all know it. Personally, I am for smart, balanced regulation of corporations, with a bit more laxity for small business. Donald Trump is not. That's democracy. Thus, I am in no panic about it. Trends shift; momentum ebbs and flows; that which wanes today waxes tomorrow. Perhaps it is pretty, in the echo chamber, to think otherwise. I am in no distress. Centralized Animal Feeding Operations aren't spewing liquified manure in my neighborhood. And, the tweeting don will come and go. Dream on, Echo Chamber, dream on. Soon enough, you will cry and whine and villify, just as you did before.

So, who do you think would/should be President?

Granny Bear Wrote:So, who do you think would/should be President?

First, Donald Trump should be President. He won the election.

I always liked Jack Kemp. I thought he had a lot of good ideas about urban housing and a balanced view of the need for capitalism to be as unfettered as possible, yet he also saw that greed leads to excess leads to abuse leads to injustice.

My point is not that Donald Trump is some particularly evil person who won the Presidency. We elect men and women: not angelic beings. Plenty of Presidents have told big fat lies. Plenty of Presidents have chased skirts. "He may be a turd; but he's our turd." That's politics.
#14
I was actually thinking about the candidates that ran for the position.

Including six or eight of the top people, what's you choice?

Really? I'll take an echo chamber (real or the product of your imagination) over the star chamber tactics against the President that you support any day. But show me anybody else on this board who'd have allowed himself to be made spectacle of (not that you needed the help) in getting one guy to like him 1,100 times in a matter of months. I mean, Gitback had to go back in old threads in order to find enough posts to like for you. Now 11 hundred reverbs? that's the mother of all echoes.
