Has anyone taken the GRE?

If so, how was it? What's it like in comparison to the ACT?

Oh, and how much did it cost? How long did it take you to complete it? And how long did it take for you to get your results back?

I got results immediately since it is a computerized test. The math was not bad for me, the English was rough, but not too bad.... overall.... I hated it LOL It cost too much for too little return, and was more like a super high speed ACT!

It's tough. Especially the quantitative section, which I guessed on the entire part and got extremely lucky with my score. It's harder than the ACT in my opinion.

It costs like 140 bucks, takes about 3-4 hours, and you get the results as soon as you are finished as it is taken on a computer.

Most schools generally expect an overall score of 800 (400 on each section) and a 4.0 in the writing section.
