The 7th Region power struggle kicks into gear with a matchup of huge importance with the #6 and #10 teams in the state. There is extreme dislike between these two and it is one of the most anticipated rivalries in Louisville each year.

With Eastern possibly coming in undefeated Ballard will take pleasure in breaking their streak. Wesley Cox and Ian Chiles should be a good matchup with Chris Dowe and Delquan Thomas. Eastern will have to have others step up as well, because Cox and Chiles are one of the top backcourts in the state. Ballard is more battle tested with tough losses against Scott Co. and Holmes. That should give them a slight edge, but I do think Eastern will come out on top as long as they come to play and play like they're able to.
