Is there any interest in the Belfry community of starting a high school tennis team? When the Hardy courts were revamped a few years ago one of the reasons put forth for the expenditures was to allow for the possibility of a Belfry tennis team, but that evidently has yet to materialize.

Only Pikeville and Pike Central currently have tennis teams of the six schools in the county. Pikeville College dropped its tennis team this school year and has allowed its four courts next to the gym to deteroiate to beyond belief. It is a shame there is not more interest in tennis in this area.
