If you do not yet know who Jason Mattera is, then you will know the name soon. Mattera is a young Republican who recently wrote a book titled Obama Zombies. What has really piqued my interest in him is the fearless way that he politely conducts ambush interviews with well known Democrats.

Below is an example, but Mattera's interviews with John Kerry, John Murtha, Charles Rangel, and Tom Harkin are also pretty entertaining. Mattera is adept at striking up a conversations in circumstances where his target cannot easily ignore him.

Watch as Jason gets Robert Gibbs so rattled that he almost rides away in the wrong car. Here is a link to Mattera's website if you want to watch other interviews.

Here is another good one. Watch Charles Rangel flash his best political smile when he thinks Mattera is one of his supporters from back home. I don't know how Mattera manages to corner these crooks for two or three minutes at a time.

That he is. He reminds me a little of Griff Jenkins, the tiny Fox new reporter with the nerdy looking black glasses but Griff always seems to run into burly thugs between him and his prey.

Mattera plans his "interviews" so that he gets close enough to his targets to get punched in the nose, which I expect will eventually happen.
