These kind of comments are a career killer when your at a school like Vandy.

He's crazy but I like him. If you study into him much it's pretty amazing what he's done at Vandy. 9 win season and good kids coming. He's selling that they will give you a top education in America in the greatest football confrence in America. They are going after bright stars.

I loved it. James Franklin has an awesome sense of humor, and he is a fantastic football coach. He's an easy guy to root for. It was blown way out of proportion (as is everything else in sports media) and taken completely out of context. Franklin is one of my favorite young coaches in college football.
