Getting word out of Knott Co that Scott Cornett will not return as coach and his son Dalton is now enrolled at Leslie Co.

Didn't see this coming.Will Cornette be coaching Leslie or be assisting?His son is an excellent up & coming player.Wish Knott the best as the search for another coach begins.

What's next for Knott? Where do they go from here? How many coaches does this make the program having in the past 5 years? At least 4. Any thoughts on who may be taking the program over? Hopefully, they will get it stable soon.

If this is true it is a major set back for a program that is already down with a feeder system that is struggling.

Apparently there were several issues with the basketball team and his son.Good kid that will benefit the Leslie program and will make an immediate impact for the Eagles,not only in baseball but basketball as well. Coach Melton has a alot of underclassmen that will contribute along with Cornette's son.
