Something is wrong in powell County when you run Coach Dean & Coach Varney out of down. Varney would have stayed there his whole career if he was treated fairly. You can only lie to someone so many times.

He was told he would be the next AD when the job came open which happened at the end of the school year. Was also told numerous improvements would be made to baseball facilities.

My grandson plays for Elite out of Lexington and plays for Seth Knight. Rigsby has just taken a job with Dunbar for next season. So I don't think he would leave. I'm wrong a lot though

I think Powell got it right this time. Spencer is a hometown guy and will be looking to stay there for the next 20 years.

Powell will return a lot of young talent. They lose lead off man, Mikey Lindon. Starting pitcher, Lance Trent, as well as Evan Molihan and Trevor Marcum. Just four seniors depart from the 2016 team.

Great shortstop in Nate Skidmore and a really good arm in Drew Ginter return. The Catcher is well rounded. The question marks are in the bats. They will win a lot of games if they can put the ball in play with runners on.
