I agree with this one. Leslie's Meyers dominated this one friends. Everything she threw up went down. Great, great athlete and nothing Hazard did could slow her down. When the Lady Dawgs beat Leslie Co. at home about a mo. ago, Danner, Beverly and Sturgill seemed to be able to contain her...but not today. Hazard looked tired and off track (perhaps that game against Cordia the night before?!) and their big shooters seemed "off". Caudill, Beverly and Sturgill seemed to have moments of brilliance for Hazard, only to suddenly stop and go terribly cold. Annie Harris, while the rebounder for the Lady Dawgs, could't get anything going down under either. The only flash for Hazard was the "bulldog" tenacity of Libby Danner, who played gut wrenching defense and seemed to come alive in the 2nd half (too little, too late) with her shots.

Another problem with Hazard was that their press wasn't rattling those Eagles as it had in the past, and at least one Leslie Co. Lady Eagle was always ahead of it.

Yep, was a battle for sure, but the Eagles seemed to soar higher and higher and the Dawgs...just stayed on the ground.

I'll say...Leslie Co. Lady Eagles over Wolfe Co. in the final.

Guard Haley Simpson had 14pts 19rbs and 10ast. She played great for the Lady Eagles as well.

Oh yeah, she was definitely on her game as well. She had a really good game too. Can't take anything away from her.
