Thought it would be a good idea for members to give a preview of there favorite high school teams for '07.

I'll start.
Prestonsburg Blackcats 2007
On offense the blackcats return six starters, each of the returning players have improved and look good for the upcoming season. Standout players on offense include quarterback Bobby Hughes, Halfback's Allen Craynon and Seth Setser, and Wideout Austin Gearheart. This seasons line consists of Matt Blevins, Darrin Lawson, Zach Bragg, Justin Trout, and Nathaniel Stephens. Lots of experince in the backfield and upfront.
On the defensive side of the ball, the blackcats return five starters and return three players that had over 100 tackles in Dalton Taylor, Matt Blevins, and Nathaniel Stephens. Standouts on defense will be Dalton Taylor, Taylor Clark, Matt Blevins, and Nathaniel Stephens. Lots of speed on the defensive side of the ball and experince.
Break-out players will be: Dalton Taylor, Austin Gearheart, Austin Mckinnley, Taylor Clark, and Darrin Lawson.

powell pirates 2007
defensive line consists of mainly three seniors:howell, mccoy,and elam. two juniors vancleve,and sexton. the three seniors have some awesome size and agility. they have played together since elementary school. look for some big hits from this line. oh forgot to mention. howell has had 3 scholarship offers.
offensive line consists of howell, ledford, mccoy and tipton. there are multiple receivers and they all have good hands. expect some good hands. billy rice is the quarterback and he has worked all summer and has improved 110%.
with powell county's new head coach and coaching staff this team will be a team to watch this season.
