Teacher and past assistant coach at Douglass Wes Scarberry was named the new head coach at Frederick Douglass on Tuesday morning. He will take over the Bronco program after coach Jason Mosley was suddenly fired on Aug. 26. Scarberry was a assistant for the Broncos from 2019-2021. Prior to that he was the head coach at Richmond Model for 12 years that included a 11th region All-A title in 2013. Best of luck to Coach Scarberry!
